Our Story

Steiner farm is a extension of Bayviewfarm . We focus on grass fed pork ,chicken and eggs . Our host Bayviewfarm works primary on hormone free Beef . We work together to insure our clients receive the highest quality fresh products possible .

Our farm is located in Lochaber Quebec . Our pork and meat chicken production is seasonal , starting in spring and ending in the fall . Our beef from bayviewfarm is year around produced/available .

Our vison on animal welfare

We take animals out of barns and put them outdoors . We believe animals should be outdoors where they can express their natural abilities .Our pigs are outdoor 24/7 . Shaded by trees and allowed to dig with their nose , our pigs really express their true abilities giving them pride and purpose in life . Our cattle out on pasture move and mow the grass like intended . Our chicken have mobile houses where they spend the night but leave during the day . During the day they scratch around and yes chickens eat grass , they love it , along with bugs and worms .
